ReadFlow – Privacy Policy

Last updated: May 2026

Overview

ReadFlow ("the Extension") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what data the Extension accesses and how it is used.

Data We Do NOT Collect

ReadFlow does not collect, store, transmit, or share:

Data Stored Locally

ReadFlow stores only your reading preferences (theme, font, text size) in Chrome's local storage on your own device. This data never leaves your device.

Translation Feature

When you use the Translate feature, selected article text is sent to Google's public translation endpoint (translate.googleapis.com) to perform the translation. This is subject to Google's Privacy Policy. No data is sent to any server operated by ReadFlow.

Permissions

Third-Party Services

The Extension uses Google Translate's public API for translation. No other third-party services are used.

Children's Privacy

ReadFlow does not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
